Jean Kilbourne
Author and filmmaker who created the "Killing Us Softly" movies. She brought attention to everyone about how media affects women in negative aspects. The media makes women want to become someone we are not. She explains that women see these bodies in magazines and TV but they don't realize that the ideal body that is portrayed in the media is only 5% of the human population. Yet many women are trying to fit this image when in reality they will never have it. Women's bodies are often times seen as objects and are often mistreated because of it.
